Anima Mundi -
$18.99
The Soul of the World
The "Anima Mundi" has been defined in philosophy
as the universal soul. Plato believed that the Anima Mundi acted to the world,
as the human soul acts to the human body. He spoke of the cosmos as a living
being, with a body, soul, and spirit. The "Anima Mundi" was thus called, The
Soul of the World.
Some say the profoundness of the soul was minimized by the philosophy of Rene
Descartes, in the 17th century. He removed the soul from nature, by stating that
all of nature was a machine, including the human body. Science attempted to
understand how the body worked, but not why. Western thinking perpetuated this
idea by separating science from religion, and allowed science to define the
world by it’s own terms. We neglected our souls, and were not conscious of the
souls in others; the souls which make living things alive.
We must understand that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves;
that we are not only part of a living, breathing earth, but part of a universal
consciousness. Eastern philosophies have always believed this.
The "Anima Mundi" pours forth her blessings upon the world. May we all learn to
do the same.

Lilith
$23.99 The legendary
figure of Lilith has become a symbol for women’s unity. Lilith is a symbol of
women’s equality, freedom of choice, freedom of expression, and sexual freedom.
As with any legendary and mythological female figures, Lilith has been
associated with the dark side.
Through art and literature, there is evidence of Lilith’s development dating
back to Sumerian civilization. She is mentioned in the Talmud, the Zohar, and
various Jewish Legends. One popular version of Lilith’s origin was written in
the book The Alphabet of Ben Sira (900 CE). God created Lilith as a wife for
Adam. Both were created from the earth, as equals. Conflict arose when Lilith
refused to lie beneath Adam. She would not be subservient to him. When Adam
insisted that beneath was her place, she uttered the ineffable name of God, grew
Owl-like wings and flew from the Garden of Eden. Three angels were sent to
retrieve Lilith, but she refused to go back.
What happens to Lilith next is confusing. Mythology, Mysticism, and Folklore do
not lend themselves to easy interpretation. It is said she becomes the wife of
Sammael, the angel of death. She is a seductress who enters men’s dreams as the
succubus. Like the Hindu Goddess Kali, she is as much feared as revered, for she
is a symbol of power and fury, fueled by unbridled passion, free will, and an
intensely dark feminine nature.
The Lilith symbol is not for everyone. The imagery is strong, unpredictable, and
frightening, but also raw, real, and powerfully honest.

Moons of Hecate
$23.99 "I am Hecate,
Goddess of ancient Greece, guardian of the unconscious, mistress of the night,
the dark side of the triple moon Goddess. I am Hecate, Queen of all witches,
sorceress, seductress, psychic, crone, hag. I ride through the night sky,
bathing the landscape in supernatural light. I am Hecate, I command earth, sea,
and sky, I control the lunar cycles, I control your menstrual cycles; I am the
ultimate feminine."
As the triple-goddess, Hecate
represents maiden, mother and crone; mind, body and spirit; and birth, life, and
death.
Hecate is associated with the
dark side of the moon; but this is the true moon. The moon has no light of it's
own, only reflected light from the sun. Like the moon, Hecate is dark. She
symbolizes the dark within us, the part of our psyche we refuse to acknowledge.
We ignore the wisdom, the strength, and the truth of Hecate, because our fear of
the darkness is so strong.
In Western society we value beauty, youth, and money above all else. We hide our
elderly, our sick, and our poor so we can pretend to be immune to such human
conditions, but Hecate reminds us of the truth.
Hecate sees through the facade of societal amenities. Hecate is not deceived by
social standing, education, or titles and wealth. She is impressed only by what
is in the heart. She is patroness to those on the outskirts of society. She
believes not only in second chances, but thirds and fourths. Her mantle of
healing covers the forsaken, when the rest of society turns it's back

Artemis the
$23.99
Moon Goddess"I am
Artemis, daughter of Zeus. I am strong and swift. I run in the woods, wild and
free, doing what I please. I am the ever-youthful female spirit of adventure;
young and old, no challenge is too great for me! I am the protectress for all
women and of the virgin girls. I am called upon to ease the pain of childbirth.
I am the Goddess of the Moon and Goddess of the Hunt."
Lean and muscular, beautifully
athletic, the perpetual tomboy; this is the image of the Goddess Artemis. She is
also a triple-moon Goddess known as Luna, the heavens; Artemis on Earth; and
Hecate in the underworld.
Her strong association with
the moon and the corresponding lunar cycles makes Artemis the Goddess of female
secrets. She also has a strong solar connection because she is the twin sister
of the Sun God - Apollo. This is part accounts for her fiercely independent and
self-sufficient nature. This balance of sun and moon, and male and female
energies keeps Artemis grounded as the representation of the Goddess earth. As
Goddess of the hunt, Artemis uses her "moonlight vision" the ability to see
clearly through a hazy, muted wilderness.
Women who follow the Goddess
Artemis develop their own "moonlight vision" which can manifest in vivid
dreaming, allowing illumination for the journey within. Explore the moon Goddess
in all phases of her glory and worship the moon Goddess Artemis within you.

Blossom of the
$23.99
Seven GoddessesThe
“Seven Goddess Pendant” symbolizes the seven Greek Goddesses in the petals of a
flower. At the center is a seven-pointed star, symbolizing the sparkling light
of the Earth Goddess, Gaia; who gave birth to us all. From the stars bursts
forth the seven petals, each signifying one goddess. The petals interlace,
representing the overlapping of Goddesses within us; their strengths and
weaknesses apparent in different phases of our lives.
The Seven Greek Goddesses are
Athena, Artemis, Hestia, Hera, Demeter, Persephone and Aphrodite.
Athena is the Goddess of
wisdom and also the goddess of crafts. Artemis is the Goddess of the hunt and
goddess of the moon: she was the archer with perfect aim. Hestia is the Goddess
of the hearth and Temple; Wise-women; Hestia is insightful, looking inward to
intuitively sense what is going on. Hera is the Goddess of Marriage; her name
means "Great Lady". Hera is committed to the role of wife, which brings both joy
and sorrow into her life. Demeter is the Goddess of Grain, the Nurturer, and
Mother. Demeter was worshiped as the "Mother Goddess" and the mother of the
maiden, Persephone. Persephone is the queen of the Underworld and Maiden
Goddess. She is worshiped as the "Kore" (young girl). The Goddess Persephone
represents the duality of the child-woman. Aphrodite is the Goddess of
Love and Beauty. Aphrodite governs a woman's enjoyment of love and beauty and of
sensuality and sexuality. Aphrodite's influence is felt in a woman's need to
procreate, as well as her need to be artistically creative. Aphrodite demands
intensity, in total absorption in who she is with or what she is doing.
The seven Greek Goddesses
personified strong feminine qualities, the archetypes of which reside in all
women. Understanding these archetypes and becoming aware of which goddess or
goddesses are ruling our individual psyches, can open new depths of
understanding for women.
Psychologist, C.G. Jung
believed that women are influenced by these inner forces (archetypes), which are
part of our collective unconscious. Tapping into this knowledge can raise a
woman's awareness. It can help us find new personal meaning in our lives, or
even empower us to alter our life course and start a new path toward enriching
our souls.

bead and booklet. 1" diameter.

Pentacle of the
$23.99
GoddessThe Pentacle
has been used and worn as a powerful Protection symbol for thousands of years.
It's meaning has roots in philosophy, religion, alchemy, magic, and mysticism.
The five points of the pentacle can represent the four elements of Earth, Air,
Fire, and Water. The fifth point of the pentacle represents the fifth element,
Spirit. In Hindu philosophy, this element of 'spirit' is called Akasha. It is
the substance upon which reality is impressed.
In ancient Chinese philosophy, the flow of yin and yang are responsible for the
creation of the five elements. The five points of the pentacle symbolize the
element of fire (which creates earth), earth (which creates metal), metal (which
creates water), water (which creates wood), and wood (which creates fire). The
pentacle has had different meanings throughout history; Celtic priests called it
"The Witch's Foot," the Druids considered it a sign of the 'God-head,' and it is
also known as the "Seal of Solomon." Many believe the Pentacle to be a sign of
protection against demons and a symbol of safety. The Greek philosopher,
Pythagoras, thought the symbol represented the harmony of mind and body and
considered it a symbol of good health. In Gnosticism, it referred tot he five
elements of Fire, Water, Air, Wind, and Light. In Christian iconography, the
pentacle is associated with the five stigmata of Christ.
In rituals of magic, the pentacle is used in ritual oaths; with the point down
denoting 'Black Magic' and the point up denoting 'White Magic.' Drawing the sign
of the Pentacle in the air, starting at the top and leading to the bottom, is
used as a banishing ritual to ward off negative energies, evil vibrations, and
psychic attacks. Understanding the history and philosophical importance of the
Pentacle will help dispel the fear and negativity some associate with this
symbol.
This delicate Talisman combines the protective power of this five-pointed star
with open flowers of the Goddess. The pentacle calls upon the life giving forces
of the Goddess while conveying its protection upon the wearer. It is worn in
respect and honor to our Earth Mother.
Comes with a 36" cord, accent bead and
booklet.

Brigit Pendant
$23.99 Brigit, the
great triple Goddess of the Irish Celts known as Brigantia in England, Bride in
Scotland and Brigandu in Celtic France. Brigit is identified with the Earth
herself and with the soil of fertility.
The clearest example of the
survival of an Early Celtic Goddess into Christian times is Bridgit, the great
triple goddess of the Celtic Irish who appears as Brigantia in England, Bride in
Scotland, and Brigandu in Celtic France. The Christians "converted" Bridgit
along with the other people, calling her "Bridget", the human daughter of a
Druid, and claiming she was baptized by St. Patrick. The ancient Bridgit had
three manifestations, one the goddess of smithcraft, one ruled poetry and
inspiration, and one the goddess of healing and medicine.
The three Brigids were different aspects of one divinity unified in the symbol
of fire for Bridgit was "Bright Arrow" or simply "Bright One" as her name tells
us. The Irish say that Bridgit invented many useful things including whistling
and keening, the mournful song of the bereaved Irish women. Bridgit is
identified with the earth herself and with the soil fertility. Today, little is
left of the legends told of the greatest of all Celtic goddesses, a deity so
intensely related to the feminine force that no man was allowed to pass beyond
the hedge surrounding her sanctuary.
Comes with a 36" cord, accent
bead and booklet. 1 1/4" in diameter.

Lakshmi Goddess
$23.99
PendantIn Vedic
Literature (ancient Indian texts), Laksmi is the embodiment of the Auspicious
Qualities of food, royal power, noble rank, universal sovereignty, holiness,
luster, kingdom, fortune, bounteousness, and beauty. She is worshipped in late
autumn at the festival of “Divali” where her followers ask for blessings of
fertility, prosperity, abundant crops, and good fortune for the coming year. In
Indian mythology, the God Vishnu is said to have churned the milk ocean into
chaos, in order to extract the essence of immortality. The milk ocean or
primordial waters yielded this valuable essence, which is said to be the Goddess
Laksmi. She is Creation, she is the transformation of formless waters into
organic life.
Laksmi is usually depicted
sitting atop a lotus blossom - the symbol of fertility, purity, and spiritual
perfection. She is often surrounded by the blooms and buds of the lotus,
signifying the various stages of creation. When depicted alone, without her
consort Vishnu, she usually has four arms representing her nurturing and
generous nature. Gold coins flow from her hand in prosperity. A pot of “Amrita”
the bliss juice of immortality is held in another hand, and a Bilva fruit in
another, representing the spiritual strife which occurs before one achieves
moksa, or freedom from the bondage of karma.
Laksmi is one of the most beloved Hindu Goddesses. She represents the perfect
state of refinement which transcends the material world.
